What are you needs? C1 is a very good editor but overkill for me. However, after getting the Z7ii recently, I had to use the 30 day trial to keep me going but now I'm on 22 - this is worth the upgrade price from 20 I have been with C1 since the start but skipped 21 as I felt it didn't offer much over 20. One more thing, their online video tutorial sessions are superb and easy to follow. I buy a new version when I get a new camera or am excited about new capabilities, which is just about every year. I think color management, layers, and transparent integration are major strengths. The newest version now includes HDR and pano stitching, the latter I have tried and it works flawlessly so far. It is amazing how intuitive everything has become, even as new features and capabilities were added. I have been with Capture One for over 15 years.

Does everything I need and upgrade pricing doesn’t make your head hurt. Why you need to upgrade? Are they forcing it?ĭXO PhotoLab 5 here also. This is subjective question no doubt, and everyone will have their own "favorite RAW processor"ĭue to image quality of the RAW conversions & noise reduction capability Here's my question - and I get that this is somewhat subjective - but is there any consensus on what the best RAW processor is these days?
#The best raw photo processor update#
I'm pretty much over Capture One because their current v22 update is requiring yet another $200 upgrade fee and I'm over it.

Please forgive me if this topic is in another thread - I searched and could not find one.
